*No Way November*

So tis the year for celebrating....first Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Years...but for now we will take a stop at Thanksgiving.
We had the busiest weekend ever!!! Thursday we had 3 stops to make! First we stopped off at Zachs, Aunt LeAnnes and Uncle Barts. It is always fun there. He has such an amazing family(both sides), that makes me feel so welcome! =] Then we headed to my Grandma Mitchells. Morgan, Payton, Tyanne and I played our usual game of Trouble, while Marcus and Zach slept, the little boys played Video Games and the "adults" sat at the table and talked! That is just what the country does to you!!! (makes you sleepy!) It was wonderful to see everyone, I haven't seen in so long! Everyone is so busy, its hard to get together! I can't believe how big my little cousins are getting. Then after that, we headed back to Fishers, and stopped by Zachs Grandmas for a short bit, just to say hello. She made soup, but we couldnt' eat anymore!!

On Friday we had our friends Thanksgiving which we like to call Drinksgiving! :) Another year...a lot of friends...a lot of money spent...a lot of fun!!! Drinksgiving is something we decided to do last year...as an excuse for all of our friends to get together.(and party) All of us have lives, some are married, some even have kids, and this is just a great way for everyone to get together at once!!
Steph and I made most of the food...and most everyone pitched in!! We had tons of food!! It was wonderful! I think Zach and I ate more than we did on Thanksgiving. I do thank everyone so much for pitching in and helping! and for not trashing my house this year!!!! It was wonderful to walk downstairs the next morning and not have to clean up too much! =] Can't wait for next year!
Saturday we had a real Thanksgiving Dinner with Zachs Grandparents. They are a blast. While Zach watched TV with his dad and Grandpa, I played games with his cousins,Mom, and Matt and Emily....so fun! :) You can never go wrong with Catch Phrase and Apples to Apples!! I really do adore them.
Sunday we headed to Rushville to Grandpa and Lindas house...which is always quite the haul that results in me stopping at the same Village Pantry for Zach to pee....EVERYTIME. Its so funny. Its like clock work! Its always so busy up there on Thanksgiving, so many cousins, many of which I dont even know their names (i know thats so awful!) But its always fun! We didnt stay too long, we were soooo pooped from the entire weekend that we just went home and collapsed!

Basketball Season for us (North Central) starts on Friday! This will be a different season with no Eric...but we shall see!! I have faith in my daddy!!

BOO!!!!

Zach and I held our 1st annual Halloween Party at our house this past weekend. It was so much fun to see what creative costumes everyone came up with! :) We deicided that this is our new favorite "holiday!" We shopped all day for food and more decorations (Morgan and Payton helped me on Friday), and of course Zachs costume (mr. procrastinator!)!! I was a "Boxergirl" and Zach was "White Trash"...he had a wig that we put like 3 cups of Vegtable Oil on to really give it the effect. It was so hilarious! I made 5 lbs of Hamburger, and tons and tons of rice, and we had Walking Tacos!They were quite the hit!! It was fun, and very festive.

After a lot of games of Flippy Cup...a big group went to a Costume Contest at Britton Tavern (about 1.5 miles or so from our house). Our friends Daniel and Brian won best costume and they each won $100. They went as the Ambiguously Gay Duo from SNL...hilarious! I was a bit disappointed I didnt get a cut of that money, because their costumes were MY IDEA!!!

MIA

So I have been missing in action the last 2 months!!! I am fully aware. This college thing is definitley putting a damper on my social life!!! "No, I can't go out, I have a math test...or a million papers due"...is something that I have been saying a lot lately. I dont do much....but stay in and study....which is good I guess, but its turned me into a "fun sucker." haha.

We had family pictures taken...they are super good. The photographer didn't want us to show any of them, b/c none of them have been photoshoped yet...but they are great..i will show you a few...and when they get edited I will post them all!







We have also been "bon-firing" a lot lately! Looooove it!!

We took a trip to a Pumpkin Patch in Mooresville....it was my first time ever going to a pumpkin patch. It was so much fun! =]

So I have some pictures that I wanted to share of some random summer stuff.....


This is Aidan. Our friends Josh and Mindys little boy. He is seriously such a good baby! He is almost 8 months old. He hardly ever cries, and loves to be held and played with! =] He usually stays inside with the girls when all the boys are out in the garage doing "boy stuff." He is a chunk...and loooooves to eat! He recognizes me when I walk into their house, and that makes me so excited!! Everyone knows how much I love babies...if I could afford them right now Id have a housefull!! :) (But for now I'll just settle with Mr. Aidan!))







This Summer we had a TON of weddings to go to...and Zach and I aren't even done...we have 2 more in September to go to! A few weeks ago Mom, Dad, Morgan and myself went to Jason Gardners wedding. We have known Jason for over 10 years...and his new wife too!! She was the Captain of the Cheer Squad at NC when Jason played ball for dad. It was so fun to see them finally tie the knot! A few of Jasons groomsmen were his teammates from Arizona, that are now in the NBA. They were quite the "hit." Morgan wants to marry Luke Walton, he was super nice. It was a fun wedding, and we were glad to be invited! :)

I also started school this week. Just ask Z! I haven't been the easiest person in the world to live with! He is amazing though! He is pushing me and making me stay positive about all of my stress!! I'm so lucky! I paid extra to have my books overnighted and they still aren't here 3 days later! NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!! So hopefully the books will be here soon and I can get a move on it! Pray for me...wish me luck...whatever...I just hope I do well!! :) I really really want it this time!

5th Annual Bryce Mitchell Golf Tourney

We just finished the 5th Annual Bryce Mitchell Memorial Golf Tourney. It was amazing. The last I heard we raised right around $15,000 at the dinner alone!! It was so awesome. On the way there was a Colts van in front of us, and I was the idiot that said "I wonder what that Colts van was for?!" Only for Zach to say to me...."Obviously that is the Super Bowl Trophy!" The Trophy was a HUGE hit! Everyone was getting their picture taken with it, it was great! The "security" guy who was there watching over the trophy had a ring, and was also letting poeple take their pictures with the ring. It was so awesome to see so many people that we haven't seen in a while come together for Bryce, and our family! :)

The Saturday before the big 2 days, me, Zach, Morgan, Payton, Mom and Linda helped set things up and stuff goodie bags....that was fun...esp with Z's hurt hand! It was a good time though...we just hung out at the Golf Course for a while, and then went our seperate ways, before meeting for my birthday celebration!!! =]

Kelvin Sampson was our speaker. He was super nice. Everyone wanted to talk to him, so he asked my momto go up and get his plate, for dinner. It was too funny. He spoke about the troops over in different parts of the world. It was interesting. I think that everyone thought he was going to talk about sports, but he didn't. He talked about how there are bigger things in the world, and to appreciate it what we have, and to appreciate what others are doing for us in other countries. It was nice.! :)

It was also my birthday, and dad made me stand up in front of all 250 people and they sang happy birthday to me! I was extremely embarassed. And Zach sure thought it was hilarious. bahaha. It seems that something always falls on my birthday, whether it be my family leaves me for vacation, other engagements, or this year...bryces outing! But I dont mind it!! It was such a great time!!

The day of the outing was fun. Zach, Stephanie and myself rode around in a golf cart all day and had a blast running errands for everyone and all that jazz! =] Here are some pictures!! I will post a link of all the pictures on my webshots!!
