ChristmasTime

Although Thanksgiving is my favorite, I too enjoy Christmas. Sometimes Christmas frustrates me because everyone is so worried about the gifts, when it should just be about the family time.

We will start with Christmas @ Grandpa and Lindas....
We took some Grandkid pictures!! I honestly dont know if we have ever had a picture taken with all of us!! So it was fun!

Sorry Payton...your face got cut off. oops.

Christmas was fun this year. . .and as my dad put it "enjoy this christmas, Taylor, because it is your last" hehe. The only thing I really wanted was a new digital camera...obviously I enjoy taking pictures and my canon is outdated, slow and quite "special." To turn it off, I often had to bang on it..hahahaha. So I got a new one!!! A Sony Cybershot..and I love it! It was complicated to learn, but I'm catching on and just loving it! I also got a Bob Sanders Jersey...a new blankey....some gift certificates...a new hair straightener....and a lot of other stuff. My dad and the girls also picked out the cutest little shoes ever for the baby...Black Chuck Taylors!!! :) He will be stylin'!

I hope everyone had an awesome holiday!!

in need of gutters.......

....in my house.

So if you remember a couple of months ago, I came home to find it raining in my kitchen. http://www.taylorlynne34.blogspot.com/2008/10/rainy-day.html

That was quite an ordeal with mom and I switching off between work and meeting repair men at my house to patch the hole and fix the dry wall...and leaving a HORRIBLE dusty mess.

Well I came home on Monday after getting off work at 9pm. (I almost didn't come home, I almost went to Zachs, but decided I was too tired...and decided to go cuddle with the Pup...good thing I did) For those of you that don't know...I live in a condo.
When I arrived home there was a big truck at my neighbors house..and all I saw was the side of it that said A&D 24 Hour Emergency. I was like...hmmm...
Soooo..being the nosey gal that I am, I walked over and there was a man in the garage and I asked him what was wrong.
His response: "Well your neighbor had a pipe burst somewhere, we aren't sure where yet, and it caused her ceiling in her garage to collapse. You may want to check in your house anything along this wall here."
I responded with : "Ok, but I hope I never see you again."
We laughed, I unlocked my door...and stepped into what I would like to call the Ladson Street Creek. (i live on ladson street)
My feet were covered in water. And I immediately started crying. I can't win. Cannnnnnnot win. (and neither can my parents, b/c they have to deal with me being ridiculously emotional...) So teary eyed..I checked things out. . . and found quite a mess.
My downstairs bathroom....water. My entryway....water. My carpet....water. The HUGE closet that I have that goes underneath my stairs....water....and loooooots of it. In this closet I have everything you could imagine...and after cleaning it out found out that 1/2 of it wasn't mine. So I call my dad, bawling, explain to him what happened and walked back over next door to tell the man I was flooded. Luckily it didnt "flood" my entire downstairs..it did have a stopping point. Kind of. Once dad got there, he helped me empty out the closet into the living room and garage. (yes..my dog was going crazy. so confused to what was going on) Then the man came over to check stuff out...suck water out..and found some more water damage behind my couch. He sucked out the water the best he could and JUST as they were about to finish up my neighbor turned her water BACK ON and flooded me again. **tears**
The next day mom spent the day on the phone trying to figure out insurance and all that jazz(because my parents are the actual owners of the condo) and finally after figuring it all out the guys came back the next day, ripped out my baseboards and put out some HUGE fans to dry out the mess. . . . . please remember i cannot sit (comfortably) downstairs. . . . so manning and I have been upstairs for the last 5 days....
and the upstairs is freeeeezing because the fans are putting out warm air and sucking all of my heat from upstairs, downstairs.
Its been a stressful last few days in regards to my house...
OH I forgot to mention..while standing in water in my living room I kinda felt a little chilly and realized my furnace was broken....but I got that fixed and you dont want the whole story for that one either.

So there is the lonngest story ever. and here are some pictures.

So...yeah. I'm thinking that Gutters in my house would be a fantastic idea. I am so thankful my parents are so close by and my daddy will get out of his chair at 10pm to come help me clean out a closet full of CRAP.....but hey...we found my parents card table I had convinced myself I didnt have. hahahaha :)

"suite" life of the nba.

So...as most of you should know my dad has had his fair share of awesome players. Eric Gordon being one of them....
Eric is in the NBA now and plays for the LA Clippers. . .and they were here last week playing the Pacers. We knew he was coming, and we knew dad had suite tickets, but he only had a select few...that he SAID were for himself and his coaches. Well it ended up that everyone ended up with tickets, so Mom, Morgan and I were able to go with dad and sit in a suite. It was a fun time. And sooo weird to see Eric playing professional ball. We didnt stay for the whole game...the NBA is soooo different than what we are used to, and the game went into 2 overtimes. (not to mention I like to be in my bed at like 8pm. hahaha)
Here are a few pictures from the night. :) We are so proud of our Eric.

Quick update. 32 weeks.

So...tmw is the 32 week mark....8 weeks left. I feel great for the most part---but they weren't lying when they said the 1st trimester fatigue would come back in full force in the 3rd trimester! I have been so tired, and I feel like I could sleep for 20 hours a day.
I have been getting a lot of Braxton Hicks (practice) contractions. Its so weird...and it makes me have to pee really bad afterwards. hahaha. I also think that baby is head down b/c I have been feeling the WEIRDEST tickling feelings on the lower part of my belly. Its so bizzare!!!
I had another shower this past weekend and got some awesome gifts!! (I blogged about it...a few down) I can't wait to take pictures of the little guy in all of these clothes/toys/fun things so everyone can see!! The only thing I need is a nursery (that will be up in about 4 weeks, after my roomate moves out! She is in the babys room right now...but is moving out the first week of January) and a carseat and stroller...everything else is set!
Seeing Steph in the hospital ((she had a boy!!! see a few blogs down!))..a lot of people asked me if it freaked me out, and it really didn't. It actually put my mind at ease. Seeing all the machines, IVs, etc....it really helped me become "ok" with the whole process....we will be seeing what I think in about 8 weeks...
School is good..the same...
Work is good...However, I am getting SUPER tired of bending down and picking up goggles and towels off of the floor!! I just wish people wouldn't throw their junk on the floor! There is a chair, or they can put it in the bed, which makes it so much easier..but whatever! If it gets too bad, I'll just have to make a sign! :)

I hope everyone is doing well!!

my dear dear mother

Riding in the car on the way home from a basketball game....with Morgan, Payton, Mom, and myself

The conversation went as follows......

Me: I feel so pregnant.
Mom: You still have 9 weeks left Taylor.
Me: I know, but I am offically to the point where I waddle. Its disgusting.
Mom: Yeah you do.
Morgan, Payton: ((RIDICULOUS LAUGHTER))
Me: That is NOT cool. You are supposed to say "No you dont, you look and walk great!!"
Morgan: That was kinda mean, Mom.
Mom: I didnt mean it bad, its cute.
(Wheels in moms head are turning, trying to dig her way out of this one)
Payton:(Still laughing hysterically)
Mom: I swear, you are a cute waddler

Me: thinking about crawling into a hole...but still loving my mom for telling me the truth.....hahahahahaha.

Shower me....again.

Zach and I were talking the other day about how lucky we are to have such amazing friends and family. I am so so so thankful for everything that everyone has bought, done, and all of the support I have been given. There just are not enough words to describe the amount of gratitude I have. :)

This past Sunday I had my 2nd and last shower....Aunt Gerry, Aunt Kari, and Mom and Nana put it all together...and I couldnt have asked for a better time. I got the most amazing gifts....and the fact that almost everyone that was invited came, just overwhelmed me. I am just so blessed...and this little boy is going to be so so spoiled!!!!

me and my wonderful aunt gerry!
