I don't even know where to start!! I have been so behind on this blogging deal! Forgive me!!! We have been busy. I am so exhausted! I feel like we are constantly moving...and it doesn't help that I work until 6-6:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Like last night, I worked until 6:25, then had to go to the grocery for food for the boys, formula and diapers. $115 later, I made it home by 7 just in time for baths and cuddle time. I am fighting a cold/sinus infection, so I was ready for bed at like 4pm yesterday!
Eli has started "school."He attends the preschool that I work at 2 days a week. The first few days were ROUGH, he cried a lot. I cried A LOT. My bosses kept me out of the front of the building where Eli's class is, so that I couldn't hear him crying. It was terrible. But now he is doing so much better. I think he still has moments, but he's doing great. He LOOOOVES his teacher, she is brilliant and amazing. He is his normal self, eating and napping well! He falls asleep right on his own, his teacher says.....he does NOT do that for me (thank GOD Izaak does!), so I know he is capable of it! I love my job, I love my co-workers, I love how welcoming they have made Eli feel and how they all look out for him, and come find me to tell me fun things (or when he is being a stinker) he is doing! I am so thankful to have him there! :)
His $5 Elmo backpack. Thank you Walmart :)
The first picture he colored at school. He was BEYOND proud!
His first "happy." his teacher gives them a happy stamp if they do something great. He got one....and it was the funniest/cutest thing ever.
Izaak is doing great. He is seriously the most happy baby in the world, at home. I hear sometimes he isn't that way when he is with others, but at home he is amazing. He is all smiles and just "coos" and "talks" to me and he LOVES to watch Eli. He is an eater, and STILL is not sleeping through the night. That is a bit stressful. He wakes up between 2:30 and 3 every morning, eats 6 ounces, then goes right back to sleep. I am so sleeepy! But at least he doesn't want to wake up and stay up, that I am thankful for. He is also doing well on the sitting up thing. He isn't a pro! But in just a few weeks, I think he will have it down! :)
I just look at these boys and thank God daily for how awesome they are! Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed at how lucky I am.
my budda baby! :)
Peas....even though he looks freaked out, he really enjoys them!
We also had a (I'm not going to tell you how old, b/c even though she looks A-Mazing for her age, she would kill me if I told you) birthday party for my Nana a few weeks ago and took some pictures of all of the grandkids with nana. It was a fun time! I adore my Nana. She is SO incredibly helpful and I am so thankful for her. She is always helping me with the boys if I need it and she is always buying them something new!! :) I appreciate her so much! I'm a lucky gal with all the amazing family I have!
Thank you TOM!
